Register as a New Patient 

We are welcoming new patients and are keen for you to join the surgery.

You can register quickly and easily using our online New Patient Registration form.  Alternatively, if you prefer, download, print and complete a paper form and hand it to a member of our friendly reception team.

Acceptance on to the list is as at the discretion of the practice and we may ask you for proof of identity if required to help us find your medical records or transfer them from your current GP. 

Practice Area

If you are unsure whether your address is within our boundary please check by entering your postcode in the Practice Boundary Check Postcode box. We are only able to register patients who live within our boundary and if you are unsure please ask reception to give you advice on whether you can register with us.

If you move outside of the practice area you will need to re-register with your new local surgery. One of the reasons for this is so you can access the correct range of other community services.

Temporary Patient Registrations

If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one you can receive emergency treatment from the local GP practice for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient.

You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be on the local practice list and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months you will have to re-register as a temporary patient or permanently register with that practice.

To register as a temporary patient simply contact the local practice you wish to use. Practices do not have to accept you as a temporary patient although they do have an obligation to offer emergency treatment. You cannot register as a temporary patient at a practice in the town or area where you are already registered.
